June’s Glossybox ๐Ÿ’ซ

This months Glossybox is pretty exciting!

I’ve always borrowed my friends hairspray so think they will appreciate I’ve got my own hahaa๐Ÿ˜‚

There was also a novel by Louise Pentland (Wilde like me) I’m not really a reader๐Ÿ“š and when I do read it’s anything to children’s stories at work, or Uni research.

Anyway let’s see what’s inside!!!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics- Sheer Glo

Batiste – Stylist Oomph My Locks XXL Volume Spray

Himalaya – Purifying Neem Face Wash

Sleek Makeup – Power plump Lip Crayon

111 Skin – Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel

BeautyPro – Black Diamond peel off face mask

Take a look into my May’s Glossybox, and if you love getting a treat every month, I would definitely look into subscription box, do your research first as some might benefit you more, and also make sure they deliver to your country! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Glossybox is great for me as it’s a mixture of makeup and skincare, and not too much hair care! ๐Ÿ˜„

Can’t wait to try the black peel off face mask, peel off ones are my favourite, think it’s the peeling but I like ha! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝ

Any more information on #Glossybox’s then just ask! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ซ

*No spoilers*

It’s my day off and Orange is the new black has come back with new episodes!!!!

So of course that means NETFLIX BINGE TIME! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

#OITNB is one of my favourite shows, and love how you get to know the characters.

To be honest I still need to finish pretty little liars, and been watching everything else but the rest of that show๐Ÿ˜‚, and now with OITNB, Game of Thrones, Big Brother, definitely will be holding back on pretty little liars oops. ๐Ÿ™Š

As I stated earlier, no spoilers! Just so excited it’s back, anyone else watch it all in one go that once it’s finished you’re like, oh no another year to wait and binge watch again haha! Oh yeah and don’t hate just because I watch Big brother still๐Ÿ™„ I like it, guilty pleasure I guess lol!

Who else loves Orange is the new black? What other shows do you love to binge on? ๐Ÿ–ฅ๐ŸŠ

Enjoy your weekend guys๐Ÿ’ซโœŒ๐Ÿฝ

Lips lips lips ๐Ÿ‘„๐Ÿ’„

Who’s still rocking the matte liquid lipsticks?๐Ÿ’‹

To be fair I have been a massive fan of liquid lipsticks, and went crazy for them! My first ever one was a Kylie Jenner lipstick, Dolce K! Such a pretty colour, and great for any day, anytime.

Then because if you are in the make up world (which I am not claiming to be!) buttttt if you have Kylie Jenner, you have to try Jeffree Star velour lipsticks! My first one was Scorpio as I am a Scorpioโ™๏ธ *shoutout scorpios! That lipstick is somewhere in one of my town bags haha (hate it when you know you have the perfect lipstick but can’t find it, as it’s lost in one of your bags you bring on a night out๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚) BUT I do have Unicorn Blood, I love this colour!!! Nights out is my fave time to wear it.๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

From those two brands, it was hard to buy high street ones, only because the product themselves are really good. Never had a problem with them, and enjoy the look of how my lips look in a Celfie! ๐Ÿ‘„ I do have more Jeffree Star velour lipsticks, as they are available from Beauty Bay, which is located in the UK ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง. Kylie Jenner for me is much more of a luxury in a way, as hers are not available in the U.K. Just yet! ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿฝ

Kind of stopped wearing them as sometimes with matte liquid lipsticks I HAD to be in the mood to wear it, and just thought wearing a gloss or shiny lipstick is just easier ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I do have some more favourites so check them out!

Jeffree Star: Blue Velvet

Primark: Amethyst (more of a lip cream)

Nyx: Subversive Socialite

Nyx: Moscow

Kylie Jenner: Brown Sugarโค๏ธ

Before people call me out!!! EVERY single one is real that I have featured, and wouldn’t recommend buying fake ones off Ali express, I’ve tried it and didn’t get on with them!

I wonder what the next make up craze will be next time ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜Š

Do you guys have your favourite matte liquid lipsticks still? Any that I need to try, and might add into my collection? Let me know ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’‹

โค๏ธSpa Breakโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Wroxall Abbey you were just what we needed๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

The day started off at a lovely place called “A cape of good hope” and we had a lovely roast! Then as soon as we checked into the hotel we both went into the hotel room and woah did we not expect what we saw… it was huge and the view we had was just perfect๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

Then went to the spa area and obviously enjoyed the facilities, The steam room and sauna is my FAVOURITE! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝ

Had a chill out and went out for dinner, when we got back Tom had prosecco set out and it was so cute๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

Didn’t want to leave this morning!! But we had a stroll around the grounds, and saw some cows which one of them Tom named after a football manager ๐Ÿ˜‚ It’s crazy how it’s already been a year with Tom, but it was lovely being able to celebrate together, and at a Spa๐ŸŠ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’‘!!!

Definitely recommend going to Wroxall Abbey, it’s so pretty and considering there was a wedding there as well, it was pretty quiet! Took a few photos so I’ll add some for you guys to check them out! ๐Ÿ˜Š

*Both of the dresses I wore, are from Primark!

*my legs are still burning from my workout (is this normal?)

*there should really be a mixed race couple emoji haha!๐Ÿค”

So sore๐Ÿ˜ญ…

This was obviously taken before… as I was dying after!

The morning after is the worst! Feel like my legs are going to fall off but they are on fire as well, even little tasks if just pure torture! But I suppose that is the point of it all๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚

So glad I’m on my way to the spa (AS WE SPEAK) and get to relax with Tomโค๏ธ

Was great seeing my family in London last night, and celebrating my cousins birthday! So many family members I haven’t seen in years, and met some that live near me.๐Ÿ˜‚ Everyone was having a great time, and definitely have to see more of them! Shame my grandad and my auntie couldn’t make it though!

But if you are in the London area and in need of a personal trainer! Check out my auntie Georgia’s Facebook๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ She is great and I am sore, so that means her workout plans work๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

Anyway enjoy the rest of your bank holiday guys!๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

It’s Bank Holiday๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’ซ

Yessss it’s that time!

Sorry for the people who are still working over the bank hols, but this is heaven for me (since I don’t ever see the term times).

Have you guys got any nice plans? This weekend is special to me as, this time last year Tom was getting ready to pluck the courage to make things official, (Lucky me I got to go Cambridge as well) ๐Ÿ˜. So yes this Sunday/ Monday we will be celebrating a 1 year anniversary at the SPA, and I’m so excited. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

How quick has a year gone though?! So Thankful to have him in my life, and will have to do a soppy post on Monday ๐Ÿ˜‚!

Side note* I have Sky Q tv now and oh wow, I feel like a proper adult. Cannot wait to start the Game of thrones though, so would love to hear thoughts on it๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ  Whoever else has SkyQ doesn’t it look so pretty, can’t get over it, and Tom is very happy as he can enjoy sky sports as well now.

Hope you guys have a great Bank Hol weekend, and enjoy the lovely weather๐ŸŒž

Friday feels…ย

Everyone enjoys waking up on a Friday and thinking “Thank gawwwwd”๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ, “we made it” haha, but I suppose I am lucky as for now my day off is a Friday!

It’s been an up and down week, but as I’m not a full grown adult yet (will I ever be?) I’m excited that I’m getting Sky Q installed next week, OH and I’ll have wi-fi back. EE have no explanation as to why my account was closed but that was great for me, as I wanted to leave anyway! โœ‹๐Ÿฝ (boy bye!)

Lots planned next weekend, and most excited that I’ll be spending next Sunday/ Monday with Tomโค๏ธ as we will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ and we will be celebrating it at a SPA, cannot wait to go in the steam room! We decided to do something little together, as we are going to Morocco later on in the year. I need to start my holiday shopping soon, and also get my summer body ready๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Eurovision Hangover๐Ÿ˜…!

Well congrats to Portugal for winning Eurovision๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ!

Let’s start off with the fact, I’m at that stage of hungover where you don’t know whether to go back to sleep, eat or just breath in general? And whose fault is it… myself and My partner! I’m dragging him in it to, just because I can ๐Ÿ˜‚. But enough with clichรฉ hangover talk… (Side note, for the people who enjoy a drink from time to time, *DRINK RESPONSIBLE!!! Erm why do we just keep saying we will never drink again, as the hangover is just unbearable, but it’ll be the same again for the next weekend, ha baffles me). Anywaaaaaaaay back to EUROVISIONNNNNN!

Well I am a massive Eurovision fan, I love watching the semi finals even as much as the grand final, and would love to actually go to the place live! My friend and I were talking about it and considering it’s in Portugal next year, fingers crossed let’s hope that dream comes true!!! It’s so cheesy for some, BUT I LOVE IT!! ๐Ÿง€โค๏ธ

The presenters of last nights show, were quite good actually and the show in general was really good, flowed well and Graham was giving his usual sassy comments, which also adds to the greatness of the show. Also really appreciated that toast he mentioned about Sir Terry Wogan, thought that was really nice, and yes at that time my partner and I didn’t even need to toast as we were already a bit merry! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™ˆ

All the performances were really good, and the choices this year were amazing, obviously no bias to the UK buttttttt our entry, I thought was a lovely song, oh yeah and thank you Australia for the 12 POINTS! I really loved some of the songs and added a few to my Spotify list already! Moldova, Sweden, Denmark, Bulgaria and Hungary were my favourites! (Oh wow when I tell you that I can sing along, to the Hungary song, I’m amazed my self, to the point my partner and I were giving it a right good go! *keep quiet you dirty minded people obviously I’m talking about singing!!!!)

Does anyone else find the jury bit tense? I’m literally sitting at the edge of my sofa, gritting my teeth as I’m wondering what countries are going to get the 12 points. (Let’s keep the fact that Germany and Spain didn’t receive any points for quite a bit on the low, but I’m happy that wasn’t us this time๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…)

* more Side notes below ๐Ÿค”!

Did anyone else fall in love with the Swedish guy?? He was a delight๐Ÿ˜

Omg when I heard Verka Serduchka’s name, i lost it! One of the many mad songs from Eurovision, that are to me quite CATCHY, you just have to dance to it! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ๐ŸŽถ

Can I say Jamala is amazing, and I have downloaded a few of her songs as well, but yes during her performance there was a little surprise from an Australian guy, and I think that made my partner chuckle quite a bit, but I was too interested in Jamala’s vocals to even really care.๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

Overall Eurovision last night, did do the purpose of celebrating diversity and isn’t that the whole point of Eurovision anyway, bringing different cultures together and having fun together. The world we live in might be a little mad at times, and yes Salvador made a point about music and what it has become. But on the other hand Eurovision is what brings all the mad costumes and funky songs from around the world together, and embracing being Unique. Heck why not, EMBRACE it I say!

So Thank you Kyiv, and can’t wait to see what Portugal brings next year! Cheers to celebrating Diversity, and to many more years of Eurovision! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿพโ€‹

May’s Glossybox #Nofilterneeded

Since my birthday in November last year, I have been subscribed to Glossybox and really enjoy getting a little treat every month, just trying out new brands/ products and so far I have had a few favourites. On the plus side I love getting to try out new make up as well! I highly recommend #Glossybox if you can afford a treat every month, and want to try out new skin/ hair care products, make up and other great things. Also distracts from the stress of paying bills as you know instead of dreading paying council tax, you’ll have a box full of surprises coming your way just shortly after Haha. ๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿ’ซ

Just a little background information about ME๐Ÿค—

Starting this blog is just a hobby I want to carry out, and keep my mind busy before I start my full time degree in September!

Well to start off as a little introduction about me, is that I am 24 years young, born in London but have been living in northamptonshire for most of my life. Still a city girl at heart, but love the idea of travelling the world๐ŸŒŽ and matter of fact going to Morocco in September with my partner.. (Can’t wait)!

Yes I am in a relationship, how we met is another blog haha, and very happy I have got someone in my life that makes me so happy, and has got on really great with my family and friends! I have great friends in my life and always have a laugh with them. I am also lucky to have a great best friend who is pretty much my sister๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ธ๐Ÿผ. We work together and study hard together, so lots of similar stresses we go through and help each other out, she is also pretty much my other “half” in girl terms, as she knows me as much as my partner! But it’s great to know I have them in life to help me.

My family is everything (of course), and I have a special bond with my aunts and uncle as they are pretty much, give advice like as if they are my parents. I have a NOT so little sister, as even though she is younger than me, she is nearly as tall as me, and I’m 5ft 7๐Ÿ˜ณ. She’s crazy and a lil diva at times (god knows where she gets that from), but she is my sister and love that she is just wanting to be young and enjoy the world.๐Ÿ’– I am blessed to have two mums… no no what I mean by that is, I call my grandma “mum” and my mum by her name. Reasons for that is my business but they are equally close in my life now. Major respect for my mum (*grandma, the titles/names are not confusing for me until I understand who my audience are haha so, sorry in advance) as she made me who I am today, and cannot wait graduate and see her smile, and feel proud of myself that not only did I do it for myself, but for my MUM (grandma to strangers). My grandad is also very important to me and gave me lots of love as a father figure in my life. Blessed to have lots of family everywhere in this world! From the UK๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง to America๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ.  Oh yeah and if you are wondering, where is this caramel toned young lady from? I was born in London, same for my parents and both grandparents were born in Jamaica๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ. I get asked that ALL the time, so there you go. ๐Ÿค—

And that’s a “little” background info about me! Hope you enjoyed it and it would be nice to have topics to talk about, so any suggestions, send them my way. Links to my Twitter and Facebook should be below. ๐Ÿ’ซ
